Mechanization

This work of art that I made refers to consumerism and the fact that our society attracts us with a lot of colorful elements which distract us from the true purpose of life. I chose to illustrate this idea by making a big and detailed machine which symbolises this consumerist society where everything is wanted to be ephemeral.

The technique I used is polychrome woodblock print, in four colors.

"Mechanization" is my bachelor's degree work of art.
